Juhla (Celebration) Litter

Our next litter is a combination between our lovely imported multi international, Australian and FCI champion, Miia and the very handsome and sweet natured Loki (Aus Ch. Armahani Jade Jylha). 

Loki is owned by Nicole and Chris Wright, and Jacq Lincoln. He was also bred by Jacq (of Armahani kennels). I thank Nicole, Chris and Jacq for making this lovely pairing possible.

While the match works well on paper, in selecting a sire for Miia I was looking for something that would go beyond pedigrees, hopefully complimenting her both physically and in temperament, and which would produce some lovely, sound, typey offspring. Loki was one of my first considerations.

I initially met Loki when he was a much younger boy, but even then I was struck by how nice he was, showing a lot of promise and reminding me strongly of his sire Tortik (who I have always been a great admirer of). Since then he has matured very nicely, doing well in the show rings when he has been out at both all breed and specialty shows.  While he is certainly well balanced, with lovely bone and strong masculine head, an important consideration was his personality - Loki also has an excellent temperament, and as a sweet natured and friendly lappie boy, he will match Miia's easy going nature perfectly (I am biased, but she is my perfect girl! ;) ).  

The COI for this match is 3.82% over 7 generations. We are expecting black, tan and white puppies, with a strong possibility of cream.

Puppies are due early February 2021. This will not be a large litter, and at this stage, we believe most puppies will be spoken for.
